- Charges and Payment
Charges are based upon the number of items tested, unless an undue delay occurs (see 4), on the following scale during one visit.

- Up to 30 items – £50.00
- £1.30 per item for items 31 to 99
- £1.05 per item for items 100 plus
(All prices plus VAT at the current rate)
b) All payments for approved account clients are due within 30 days of the invoice date.
c) All payments for non account customers are due upon completion.
d) All payments should be made in favour of Compas Direct Services Limited.
- Compas-PAT obligations
- a) Compas-PAT will provide a competent and qualified engineer along with all of the necessary tools and calibrated equipment to conduct the task in accordance with the Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE) Code of Practice For In Service Inspection and Testing Of Electrical Equipment.b) Compas-PAT will maintain public liability insurance suitable for the task.b) No liability will be accepted for business interruption, loss of data or business information, loss to the client’s processes or service or losses to the business profits.c) Compas-PAT accepts no liability for any equipment not made available during the visit.
d) Compas-PAT accepts no prior or subsequent liability for the client’s use of equipment deemed and identified to be faulty by our engineer.
- Client obligations
a) The client will ensure that a competent person to act as liaison and, if necessary, guide to our engineer is made available
b) The client will make available welfare and first aid facilities to our engineer.
c) The client will ensure that equipment is available for test without undue delay.
d) The client shall ensure that any critical data is backed up or protected prior to the start of the inspection.
e) To provide access to and free use of electrical power points as necessary to complete the task.
4. Undue delay
a) Should the Compas-PAT engineer be prevented from continuing to test for more than a total of 10 minutes in one instance, an additional charge based upon pro rata rate of £30 per hour will be applied
5. Variation of terms
a) Compas-PAT reserves the right to vary these terms without notice.
Force majeure
A failure by Compas-PAT to perform its obligations by reason of fire, explosion, illness, accident, industrial dispute or any other cause outside Compas-PAT’s control will not constitute a breach or remedy for claim for loss from the client.
